Welcome to Hidden Cotswold Tours
I am Peter Edwards-Moss of Hidden Cotswold Tours.
Let me take you and up to five others in your family or group on an unforgettable journey through the beautiful Cotswolds.
We’re incredibly lucky to live in such a unique part of the world and I love to show it off to all my guests.
The Cotswolds are overflowing with history. From the Romans to the Wool Merchants to the English Civil War – they have all left their mark on the churches, the historic buildings and the very landscape itself.
If shopping is more your thing, you’ll love the historic market towns, filled with independent shops, art galleries, cosy cafés, and traditional tea rooms.
Every tour I offer is tailored just for you. I’ll create an itinerary that blends history, gardens, scenery, and local charm – giving you time to enjoy what you love, at your own pace.
Some of the most memorable moments can be on the narrow country lanes between the towns, with peaceful stops to take in sweeping views or simply enjoy the quiet beauty of some of my favourite hidden spots.

Personal Guided Cotswold Tours
If you’re unsure which Cotswold tour is right for you, consider joining me for one of my “Classic Tours”.
I have specifically created these tours to cover all the must-visit towns and villages.
I like to take the smaller, quieter, roads where possible passing through some smaller beautiful villages. This also allows time to stop and enjoy some wonderful views and take some fabulous Cotswold photos.
For simplicity, I have split my classic tours into manageble areas.
Namely, the North Cotswolds and the Central and Southern Cotswolds.
However, it is easy to design a tour which takes in parts of both.
Almost all my tours are bespoke, at no extra cost, as my guests all start and finish at different places. When you contact me, we will chat about the things and places you want to do and see. I will then draft an itinerary around what you have told me. GET IN TOUCH
I can take up to 6 people in my luxury SUV.
If there are 5 or 6 in your party please have a look at my vehicle details page, as the two back seats are for smaller, agile people!

The Historic Cotswolds

We are truly fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world, rich in history and charm. The area boasts a captivating timeline, from the Romans and the Anglo-Saxons to the Normans and into the Middle Ages. Each era has left its distinctive mark on the churches, historic buildings, and rolling landscapes. As a result, the Cotswolds is a treasure trove of heritage waiting to be discovered.
However, if shopping is what you seek, you’ll find that the market towns are brimming with unique, independent shops, delightful galleries, cozy cafes, and inviting tea rooms. This perfect blend of history and local culture ensures there’s something for everyone.
Every tour I offer is one-of-a-kind. I will personally plan a bespoke journey that incorporates all these wonderful aspects, giving you ample time to experience them at your leisure. Furthermore, some of the most memorable moments often occur during the drives between the towns. I love to pause and point out breathtaking views or simply let you absorb the tranquility of some of my favourite, hidden spots. Typically, a day tour lasts between 6 to 8 hours, providing plenty of time to explore, enjoy, and create lasting memories.

We had such a wonderful time with you today. We could not have asked for a kinder more knowledgeable guide. I told my wife that it felt like we were visiting the Cotswolds with an old friend. You are such a sweet, wonderful guy and we really enjoyed your company today. You did a fabulous job and we are so grateful. Thank you for the kind words. All the best to you and maybe one day our path will meet again.
