Hidden Cotswold Tour 22nd May 2024
I was at the stunning Manor House Hotel in Castle Combe at 10am to meet Mike, Nannette and Kiera.
It was a little bit rainy as we set off. Sadly, the forecast was not brilliant for the rest of the day.

Today’s tour was booked way back in July last year and I was looking forward to meeting Carey and Judy. I was at the Manor Hotel in Moreton-in-Marsh to pick them up.
Following introductions, we set off for our day in the Cotswolds.

It was an earlier start today. I was at the Manor Hotel in Moreton-in-Marsh to pick up Aric and Libby.
At long last we had the promise of some decent weather and I was at the Kings Arms in Stow-on-the-Wold at 10:00am full of optimism for the day ahead.
Brian, Kristen and Gwen were in the square ready to go and after a brief chat on the planned route we set off.
I was back at the Fleece Hotel at 10:00am to pick up Darryl for our second day in the Cotswolds. There was time for a cup of coffee before heading off towards Painswick.
It was a different day today as the sun was shining and it was going to be relatively warm 😊
Rain was the order of the day and sadly, cold too. Barely reaching above 9 degrees. But this was not going to deter us. We met at the Fleece Hotel in Cirencester at 10:00am and following introductions and a quick detour via the laundrette, we set off.
This was to be my first tour of the 2024 season so I had to brush up on my knowledge of the Cotswolds!.

You can tell a lot by the tone of pre-tour communications. So, with this in mind I was looking forward to meeting Ellen and Ken.
