Can I Visit the Cotswolds from London Without Driving?

Yes!

Local buses connect some of the larger Cotswold towns and villages, and organised coach tours from London are another option. Taxis can also be useful for individual journeys. However, public transport becomes more difficult if you want to visit several smaller villages in one day.

A private tour costs more, but gives you the flexibility to visit places that are difficult to reach by public transport and to spend as much or as little time as you like at each stop.

Take the train from London

Direct trains run from London Paddington to Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh and Kemble, putting you right in the heart of the Cotswolds without having to negotiate London traffic or drive on unfamiliar country roads.

Can I use buses once I arrive?

It can be done, but public transport limits how many places you can comfortably visit in a day. Many of the smaller villages and country lanes that I use on my tours have limited or no useful bus service.
With a private tour, we can visit several villages, stop when something catches your interest and change the itinerary as the day develops.

Coming from London?

I can meet you at Kingham or Moreton-in-Marsh station and start your private Cotswold tour from there.
