I had had several converstaions with Mary before we eventually met at the dockside in Southampton
Our first stop was at the village of Lacock. Here I left them to explore the Abbey by themselves, before meeting up and walking around the village together.
It was impossible to park anywhere in Castle Combe on this Sunday morning. I dropped them off to wander on their own.
It was lunch time and time for some food before visiting the ancient and impressive Abbey.
Again nowhere to park and I pointed out the direction of Arlington Row.
I think we were all tired after a long day on the road. I dropped them off at their hotel in Bourton and looked forward to our meeting the next day.
