The Cotswolds are best explored slowly — along smaller lanes, through historic market towns, peaceful villages and stretches of countryside that are easy to miss.
I’m Peter Edwards-Moss and I have lived and worked in the Cotswolds for over 40 years. My tours are designed to give you a relaxed, authentic and personal experience of this beautiful part of England.
Ideal for couples, families and small groups who want to see the Cotswolds comfortably,
without hiring a car or joining a large coach tour.
The process is simple, flexible and personal from the first enquiry.
A private tour gives you a more relaxed, flexible and personal way to experience the Cotswolds.
I can share stories, history and local detail that you will not get from a standard guidebook route.
I like to travel along scenic back lanes, avoiding the most predictable routes where possible.
The day is planned around your group, your interests and your pace — not a fixed group itinerary.
A tour of the North Cotswolds will include the many historic towns and villages such as Chipping Campden and Broadway...
Touring this part of the Cotswolds can take in villages such as the ever-popular Bibury and the iconic Arlington Row...
A bespoke tour would include the must-see places but focusing on your interests. Gardens, Houses, Shopping...

“It’s was perfect, Peter was professional and knowledgeable and customized the tour to fit our needs. We took the train from London Paddington (so easy) and he met us at the station for a great day. The area is beautiful, but the roads are tight and you absolutely want to be with someone that is familiar with the area. It’s a great day trip out of the city and the countryside is really something special. I will be recommending Peter to all my friends and colleagues.”
Your day begins with collection from your hotel, Airbnb or railway station.
I prefer to take the smaller, quieter roads, passing through pretty villages and hamlets along the way. This gives us time to stop for photographs, enjoy the views and take in the beautiful Cotswold countryside.
At some stops, I may leave you to explore a town, village or Cotswold highlight at your own pace. At others, I will walk with you, pointing out interesting places and sharing local stories.
We will have discussed lunch in advance, whether you would prefer a traditional pub or a café.
At the end of the day, I will return you to your hotel, railway station or onward destinati
