It was an earlier start today as I picked up Kun and Christine from The Old Stocks Hotel In Stow-on-the-Wold.
They had asked for a tour of the North Cotswolds and we set off on what turned out to be a lovely sunny day. Burford was to be our first stop but we passed through Swinbrook on the way.
I had been in WhatsApp correspondence with Angela to put a tour together for her parents. I was therfore, delighetd to meet David and Angela at the Wild Rabbit in Kingham. Sadly, ‘Flaming June’ was not living up to its name and Angela went back for an extra layer!
I really enjoyed your company for the day. What was to be a short day turned out to be the full 8 hours with a final stop at Daylesford.

At long last we had the promise of some decent weather and I was at the Kings Arms in Stow-on-the-Wold at 10:00am full of optimism for the day ahead.
Brian, Kristen and Gwen were in the square ready to go and after a brief chat on the planned route we set off.
Rain was the order of the day and sadly, cold too. Barely reaching above 9 degrees. But this was not going to deter us. We met at the Fleece Hotel in Cirencester at 10:00am and following introductions and a quick detour via the laundrette, we set off.
This was to be my first tour of the 2024 season so I had to brush up on my knowledge of the Cotswolds!.
